The Battle of Anghiari in the world

The lost work of Leonardo da Vinci was a sensation when it was being painted, being called “the school of the world”. As well as the preparatory studies made by Leonardo, many artists, both famous and unknown, have made many copies over the centuries . This has fed the myth of “the horses of Leonardo”, amplified by the fact that nowadays there are a lot of paintings that refer to the battle spread all around the world. In this section our intention is to create a virtual room where the works related to the Battle of Anghiari are all collected together and for the first time show the locations of the famous and the less famous paintings.
